Purple Smokey Eye

To get this look:

Step 1: Put a shimmery champagne colour into the corer of your eye, (add a little bit below too for added effect) and sweep across to the half way mark of your eye
Step 2: Place a dark purple or plum colour into the outer edge of your eye and blend the two colours together
Step 3: Put the purple colour around the bottom edge of your eye
Step 4: Add some thick eyeliner, and mark your waterline with a dark soft kohl eyeliner pencil
Step 5: Put some fake lashes on for drama, or add a simple coat of mascara

It's a pretty simple look, but it's my go-to! I get comments on my makeup all the time when I wear this. The shimmer focuses attention on your eyes, but the dark purple adds depth and mystery. It's not too simple and not too overdone!

What I used:

MAC Eyeshadow in Ploof -$18
MAC Eyeshadow in Vibrant Grape- $18
Eyeshadow Base - GOSH $15
Eyeliner - Revlon Colour Stay Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Blackest Black $8
Mascara - Revlon's Voluminous in Carbon Black $9

A Touch of Pink

I've really liked playing around with my gold powder lately, and discovered this look!

Step 1: Place Pink or Fushia in the corner of the eye
Step 2: Put gold on the middle of the lid and blend into the pink
Step 3: Place a dark purple in the outer corner of your eye and blend the colour into your crease and also blend the dark purple into the gold
Step 4: Put as thick or as thin eyeliner on as your like, and then finish with some mascara! Voila you're rocking a fabulous new makeup look!

Ocean Eyes

Blue eyeshadow's will make blue eyes seem more blue! Always start with the lighter colour in the corner of your eye and blend in the darker colour at the other end. Try to blend the eyeshadow as best you can, especially in the crease of your eye. After this step, make sure you put the darker colour on the bottom edge of your eye, and finish the look with mascara and some eyeliner. Dont forget your waterline!

Eyeshadow Base - GOSH $15
Eyeshadow - GOSH's Eyeshadow Quad $18
Eyeliner - Revlon Colour Stay Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Blackest Black $8
Mascara - Maybelline's Great Lash (Lots of Lashes) in Carbon Black $7

Makeup for Blue Eyes

Try to use gold and metallic pigments to get blue eyes to pop! My eye's go between green and blue, and depending on the colours I use, specific colours come out!
